Document Block
The Document block lets you attach downloadable files to your lessons. Learners can click to download the file to their device.
Adding a document
Section titled “Adding a document”- Add a Document block to your lesson
- Upload a file or paste a document URL
- Optionally add a custom title and description
You can paste a URL to any hosted document on any plan. Uploading files directly requires a Standard or Pro plan.
Document uploads require a Standard or Pro plan.
Supported file types

Maximum file size for uploads: 50 MB.
For security, web page and program file types (for example .html, .svg, and .exe) can’t be uploaded.
Archive files Pro
Section titled “Archive files ”Pro users can attach archive files for learners to download: .zip, .tar, .gz, .tgz, .tar.gz, and .7z, up to 100 MB.
How documents display
Section titled “How documents display”Documents appear as a card showing the file type icon, filename, and file size. Learners click the card to download the file. There is no inline document viewer - files are downloaded directly.
The title and description are shown on the document card alongside the file details.
Translations
Section titled “Translations”If your course has translations, you can upload language-specific versions of the document. When a translated version isn’t available, learners see the original language file.
