Gemini CLI

In Development

Support for Google’s Gemini CLI is currently in development. Once available, you’ll be able to create and manage Slate courses from the terminal using Gemini.

Expected setup

The setup process will follow the same pattern as other MCP clients:

1. Add the Slate MCP server URL to your Gemini CLI configuration
2. Authenticate with your Slate account via OAuth
3. Start managing courses through conversation

The MCP server URL will be the same across all clients:

https://mcp.slatebuilder.io/mcp

What to expect

Gemini CLI will have access to the same tools as other MCP clients, based on your Slate plan:

• Standard - 10 tools for course creation and previews
• Pro - All 30+ tools including reviews, analytics, and tagging
